Designed in 1911, the Splendid collection is considered to be the magnum opus of Moser design. The whole world saw the beauty in 1947, when the Czechoslovak president Edvard BeneÅ¡ gave Splendid to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, as a wedding present. Splendid is fully diamond crosscut by hand and topped off with a dramatic 24k gold band that is handpainted and fired before being polished with agate and hematite. Every piece passes through at least 36 pairs of hands before it is complete. Mouthblown and handcut of the world’s finest lead-free crystal in the Czech Republic.
