Daum Crystal Ginkgo Magnum Vase, Limited Edition

Available in both magnificent amber & rich green hue, the colors are inspired by the vibrant colors of the gingko tree in summer and the golden tint of the leaves in autumn. As  the leaves fall, they form a golden carpet around the base of their tree. The iconic fan-shaped leaves, held by a long, slender stem, start out bright green in the before taking on a sumptuous gold color in autumn, from which the tree gets its name “the tree of a thousand crowns.” Each Daum crystal piece is made using the rare and ancient “Pâte de Verre” glassmaking technique, which dates back to 5,000 BC, involves melting many fragments of colored crystal within a mold. This results in intense colors and subtle shading. Handmade in France. Limited edition of 99.
