Christofle Malmaison Silverplated Cheese Tray

This serving piece is a beautiful decor for the home and a functional cheese tray. The large crystal body plate is reminiscent of one of the decorative fountains found in Malmaison, with the silverplated central finial a stunning sculptural nod. One of Christofle’s most historic patterns, Malmaison typifies the Empire style, with its frieze of delicate palm and lotus leaves and symmetrical design. The name is a nod to the Chateau de la Malmaison, a favored Parisian residence of Napoleon Bonaparte and Empress Josephine.
